Dishwasher and busboy

The kitchen’s dishwasher, Wort is a skinny and awkward young man in his early 20s. He once tried to strike out on his own as an adventurer, but got mugged by a couple of goblins and decided to live a life more ordinary as a result. Wort has a bad habit of sleepwalking, often placing himself in dire peril during the course of his inadvertent nighttime wanderings.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Think of Wort as one of our many extras in the Inn’s cast. Use Wort as a murder victim, an unlikely hero, a pawn that instigates a conflict, or a cohort for a PC. (Some GMs even play him off as Britomus’ embarrassing son who never amounted to quite as much as his father did.)
